The mix of star athletes and the world famous song and dance man is not as strange as it looks on paper, especially once you’ve had the pleasure of watching this fascinating episode of the famous Omnibus series from 1958. Kelly uses the athletes to make a strong case for his belief that dancing is every bit as athletic and, yes, manly as throwing a football or hitting a home run. The way he does it, is fascinating.
